Choose from two fabulous Sampler Quilt projects. Over the course of 5 days/4 nights master several techniques while making one of Michelle’s beautiful technique building series’ Sampler Quilts
Aspiring Star – Aspiring Stars is normally an offered as Block of the Month, as it is a Technique Building Series. However, it is being offered as a Retreat project. Master the Studio 180 Design’s Tucker Trimmer, Square Squared, V Block, and Rapid Fire Lemoyne Star while making this beautiful sampler. We will start with the basic tools and build on block by block, exploring multiple techniques for each tool.
Glorious Splendor – Glorious Splendor was released as Block of the Month in August, as it is a Technique Building Series. Normally only available at shop, however, it is being offered as a Retreat project. Master the Studio 180 Design’s Tucker Trimmer, Square Squared, Corner Beam, Diamond Rects and Corner Pop while making this beautiful sampler. We will start with the basic tools and build on block by block, exploring multiple techniques for each tool.
About Michelle Renee Hiatt
Michelle Renee is passionate about quilting. She started her love affair 20+ years ago in the 1990s. Michelle Renee is a certified Professional Process Expert (LSSBB); she uses her process improvement techniques and applies them to her quilting and teaches others how to simplify their piecing while improving the quality of their quilt making. Additionally, Michelle Renee is a certified Studio 180 Design Instructor, trained by Deb Tucker, and designs for Modern 180. Michelle Renee’s designs are featured in Fon & Porter’s Love of Quilting Magazine, Quilter’s Newsletter and Modern Quilting Unlimited Magazine. Furthermore, Michelle Renee teaches throughout the northeast, including at American Quilt Society’s Quilt Week. She is known for her humor, enthusiasm and encouragement!
