Our vacation packages and weekend getaways are a perfect way to help you plan your visit to our lodging near Lake Champlain, Vermont. Stay & Play Custom Staycation Package

We’re all looking for a change of scenery! The Champlain Valley offers many opportunities for relaxation and adventure. Activities such as hiking, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, fat tire biking and of course our favorite- enjoying a good book in front of the fireplace! Whatever your idea of the perfect vacation is, we have the perfect spot for you to experience a lovely stay-cation.  Pick your favorite guestroom from our 13 individually decorated options and add on our stay-cation package for some added love!

The package includes:

  • $100 gift certificate to Black Sheep Bistro for dinner (available for dine in or take out)
  • Choice of a bottle of chilled sparkling wine or a box of delicious chocolates from Daily Chocolate

Shelburne Museum is one of the finest, most diverse and unconventional museums of art and Americana. Over 150,000 works are exhibited in a remarkable setting of 38 exhibition buildings, 25 of which are historic and were relocated to the Museum grounds, including the 220-foot restored steamboat Ticonderoga. Enjoy traditional French flavors with a Vermont twist at the Black Sheep Bistro and then end the day at the Historic Strong House Inn.

The Shelburne Museum is open daily 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. May 13 through October 22, 2023, including: Memorial Day (May 29), July 4, Labor Day (Sept. 4), Indigenous Peoples’ Day (Oct. 9).
