On check-out day, quilters need to settle their bills and check-out of their guest room by 9:30 a.m. The Quilt Room will be open to you until 12:00 noon.
Reservations must be made in advance. A deposit of $150 per person is required at the time of registration to secure your space. Balance is due at the time of the retreat.
Room deposits are fully refundable if we receive a cancellation notice up to 2 months/14 days* prior to your scheduled arrival minus a $25.00 administrative fee. Cancelled reservations with less than 2 months/14 days* notification will result in the loss of your advance deposit. NO REFUNDS for ANY reason within 2 months/14 days* prior to the Quilting Retreat, unless your space can be filled.

Guests arriving later or departing earlier than the scheduled Quilting Retreat will be responsible for all of the original room nights booked. We cannot make exceptions for weather or personal emergencies. This package cannot be combined with any other packages.

For Quilting Retreats with an instructor, a confirmation email and material/supply list will be sent to you 2 months prior to the retreat.
The Strong House Inn has 14 unique guest rooms with private bathrooms and air conditioning. If you require a ground floor, it is important to let us know when you enroll. Please note that it may not be possible to change your room assignment at a later date. All other room requests are considered when possible but cannot be guaranteed. If you plan to come alone, and would like a roommate, let us know and we will try to match you with one. However, if a roommate cannot be found, a single occupancy rate will apply.
Our meals are usually the same for everyone, but different each day. We can usually accommodate people with dietary restrictions only if we are given advance notice of your specific needs.
No smoking policy except outside.
Items left behind at the Inn can be sent to you by US mail at your request. The cost of shipping (rounded to the next whole dollar) + a $5 handling and packaging fee will be billed to your credit card.
Alcoholic beverages are regulated by the state Liquor Board. As a licensee, the Inn is responsible for the administration of these regulations. The Vermont State law prohibits the consumption of alcoholic beverages that are not purchased from the Inn in our common areas including the grounds and gardens.
