3rd Alarm Drift Boat Trips
There’s no better way to experience Vermont’s breath taking fall colors of the Green Mountain state then on the water! From September to mid-October is prime time to experience the scenic beauty that our state is noted for. Escape from the tourists and enjoy solitude with a rod in hand our just your camera. Enjoy a peaceful day on the water and then a shore side lunch. We offer both Drift Boat Trips & Canoe Trips for parties of two people on Otter Creek.

3rd Alarm Vermont Bass, Pike and Walleye
Ask about Drift Boat Trips for Bass, Pike, and Walleye on the bays of Lake Champlain. These trips can accommodate the novice to the experienced, father and son or husband and wife, a true two-client to one-guide is what we specialize in. Tactics from top water, drop-shotting, jigging and casting baits with spinning gear… to casting large streamer flies and popper bugs with 6 and 8 weight fly rods will be employed to add to the experience that these personal trips can offer. Choose a half-day trip or a full-day out on the water. Full-day trips include a light grilled lunch and snacks to add to the pleasure and comfort we strive to provide in all of our guided trips.

3rd Alarm Lake Champlain Fishing Charters
We will concentrate on catching Lake Trout and Landlocked Salmon however; Rainbow and Brown Trout can be encountered as well. Lake Champlain Charters are for groups of three to five people.

3rd Alarm Waterfowl & Upland Hunts
Goose and duck hunts, field hunts, marsh hunts, float trips and jump hunts are all options we have to offer. Any of these trips planned from September to the end of October can be planned in conjunction with a cast and blast option with Bass and Pike fishing or upland game hunting.

The UVM Morgan Horse Farm offers tours on the hour. Visiting hours are 9:00-4:00 daily, from May 1-October 31. A small admission is charged to visit the grounds, with special rates for school tours and other groups by advance arrangement. The farm's gift shop offers hundreds of horse related gift items.

Vermont covered Bridge
The Strong House Inn offers two different Auto-Touring self-guided packages. Experience Vermont’s beauty right from your car or motorcycle. Choose one of the following: the Vermont Covered Bridges Tour or the Green Mountain Tour. All packages include detailed directions to all attractions, distance to turns, cumulative miles, a map and snacks. A navigator is recommended. Non-stop driving times range from three to four hours. $25.00

Abenaki Outfitters & Guide Service can provide guided canoeing, kayaking and hiking tours that will focus on wildlife and plant observation.

The Lake Champlain Ferry connecting Charlotte, VT to Essex, NY is a 30 minute ferry crossing and provides a new perspective of the Adirondack and Green Mountains.

The Fort Ticonderoga Ferry provides historic, scenic seven-minute crossings on Lake Champlain between Ticonderoga, New York and Shoreham, Vermont. Connecting the Lake George and Adirondack regions of New York, with the central Green Mountains of Vermont, a ferry ride is a fun way to explore the Champlain Valley.

Snake Mountain and Mount Philo offer outdoor recreation with a big reward. Both relatively easy hikes, offer breathtaking panoramic views of the Champlain Valley and the Adirondacks. Bicycling also is popular, especially along the flat back roads in nearby Ferrisburgh and Panton.
