The Stronghouse Inn was the PERFECT destination for a relaxing weekend. Mary and Hugh scheduled vineyard/brewery tours, made dinner reservations for us, and suggested sites to see in the area- making our weekend so easy! The room was adorable, very spacious and incredibly clean. Breakfast each morning was large and delicious! The common areas are quite comfortable and other guests were very friendly. Town is less than a mile away, with several great restaurants and boutiques. Burlington is a short drive as well. The property is so beautiful, we can't wait to schedule our next visit!!! Thank you for a wonderful stay, Mary & Hugh!!

I stayed at the Strong House Inn three times for a writing retreat that I hold every year in the beginning of October. Mary, Hugh, and Melissa were excellent hosts, attending to every detail of our stay. The rooms were comfortable, common areas were great for hanging out, and the breakfasts were divine. I've hosted writing retreats in six other locations, and I've come to the Strong House Inn three times because everything - the location, the inn, the food, the meeting room - is top notch. My retreat attendees loved it, and I'll be back sometime.

What a treat it was to hold my 10-person meeting here. It was easy to work with Mary to book the room and select the menu. The room itself was clean, cozy and inviting. We were seated in a horseshoe arrangement and I used their screen for my slides. The room was conducive to interactive and engaging conversation. I facilitate many meetings like this, and the Strong House Inn ranks among the best of the venues that I have used. Also, it was the first time EVER that I didn't need to precariously position my projector on books, day planners or anything else I could get my hands on! Their projector table lined up perfectly with the screen. The area of the inn that we were in was handicapped-accessible with ample parking, no stairs and a wheelchair-accessible bathroom. The food was fresh and delicious and I don't think anyone had any leftovers. All of my guests raved about the food, hospitality and venue which made me especially happy.

Loved this B&B! Had all the comforts you could want and more. The owner was very warm and friendly. The room was large, fresh, and perfectly clean. The sheets were new and crisp! It was in a quiet location. Breakfast was hot and delicious . Would highly recommend.
Staying in the "Seaside" room was wonderful. Very clean, welcoming, and tastefully decorated. The Inn keeper was very sweet and accommodating. The room was spacious and had a little balcony, which was the perfect place for me to do my morning exercises. Breakfast was yummy and completed with local fresh strawberries. Cookies and tea are available at all times. Additional drinks and cocktails are also available and are very reasonably price. The entire experience was a great value and extended my expectations.
