Pull up a comfortable chair and read HUGH's extraordinary review of current events at the Inn and in the Vergennes area.

Hugh Bargiel is the Innkeeper's husband, and high-profile promoter. If he's not tooling around town in his classic Corvette shopping for fixtures and improvements for the Inn, and the grounds, then he's hobnobbing with the local folk planning memorable experiences for his guests, and getting the details on events being planned in the area.

Many guests enjoy the numerous hand-built models which represent years of labor and love and tastefully appoint the library and entertainment areas. Hugh makes sure there are interesting things for the gentlemen to see and do around the premises while the ladies are out antiquating and touring.

While you're at the Inn you will surely enjoy his timeless stories and inspiring anecdotes in stately comfort. Join him for a libation in the Ticonderoga Tavern after 5pm most evenings.
