The Lady prefers a formal four-course tea. The Strong House Inn has
historically served the holiday tea in this traditional manner to ladies from London and the North of France to the green hills of Kentucky and
the Golden Gate. It is the Strong House Inn's special way to celebrate Mother's special Day.
This very proper four course English tea has had the pleasure of esteemed accoler from gentle women for the past ten years, and we
would like you to participate in a new decade of ageless elegance.
The Mother's Day Tea at the Strong House Inn
A lady expects fine thing.
Saunter into the antique-appointed reception area to start with a fine
tea selection, a light pâ·té de samon [salmon] and crispy, unleavened bread [cracker].
Then gracefully approach the freshest of Vermont honey-buttered
crumpets and revel in the airy condescension of the Strong House Inn scones; our truly light English epecurian art form served with fresh Dairy Cream from local farms and our own garden berries.
Tea sandwiches are of course requisitus and will exceed your expectation of qualité, if one allows a taste of French.
The finale triumphe is the dessert assortir; a delectible collection of
elegant sweets, served buffet for gracieus sampling.
Cost of Mother's Day Tea is $18.00
per-person, plus tax.
